Here is some eye candy for you my design friends. These gorgeous photos are from home of an Australian-born designer Peter Mikic in London's Notting Hill. Notting Hill still has some undiscovered gems that are waiting to be discovered and rescued - and that's exactly what Peter Mikic and his partner did four years ago when they found this old small hotel and turned it into a luxurious residential home.
“It was a complete dump,” says the home owner and designer Peter Mikic. “And when you walked in you could hear cooing, which turned out to be pigeons nesting on the third floor. There was an overwhelming amount of work to do, and that’s what got me excited.”
Read the details of the house redesign at the April issue of ELLE Decor - and swoon for the pictures now.
