I truly believe this. You know there are people who seem so nice; maybe they are nice to you because they want something from you. But then you see how they treat your dog, or your child, your spouse or even the waitress in a restaurant and you realize - that person isn't really nice at all. I think there is a lot to say about people when you see how they treat dogs, or anyone who they are not trying to impress. And the people who treat dogs or the under dogs with the same respect than others.. well, those are the truly nice people. Are you a nice person? Or just trying to impress?
