Crush Movement Mission: Collect Actionable Ideas & Take Action to Close The Gender Equality Gap As The First Country in the World

Crush Movement is for rebel leaders who want to crush the patriarchic norms and build a better, more equal, and inclusive future for all.It was founded by female entrepreneurship advocates Anna Pyykkö, the founder of Female Founders Suomi, and Katja Presnal, the author of Big Rich Money.

We believe, Finland has the opportunity to close the gender gap as the first country in the world.

There is systematic gender inequality that according to United Nations Chief Antonio Guterres will take over 300 years to dismantle and for us to gain gender equality globally. According to the World Economic Forum's Global Gender Gap Report 2022, it will take 132 years to close the global gender gap.Unless we act now.

Finland is the 2nd in the world, with 86% of the gender equality gap closed.

And has the potential to be the first country in the world to close the gender equality gap.From a national point of view, Finland has the opportunity to be a world leader in gender equality, and close the gender gap as the first country in the world.While positioning Finland as #1 is a noble goal from a human rights point of view, accelerating the gender gap closing would give Finland the opportunity also for national economic growth and strengthen our position.

Crush Movement 100 Ideas for Equality is a collection of actionable ideas on how we can improve equality in our everyday lives, in business, and in society.Equality is a human rights issue, and there are multiple reasons why we need gender equality:

• Reduces violence.
• Improves education.
• Saves and extends people's lives.
• Makes living and working safe for everyone.
• Reduces poverty and is good for the economy.
• Access to power, resources, and opportunities is more equal.

We rally for equality in pay, career building and training opportunities, equal treatment and representation in business, and not only because it's the right thing to do. But because it is also one of the best ways to create sustainable business growth.Big goals become a reality by taking a lot of small steps systematically on an individual level, on organizational level, and national level. No idea is too small.We look at the ideas from three different perspectives:

• ​​What are some of the everyday actions we can take to improve equality?
• How to have more diversity in leadership positions?
• How can we make the future more equal and inclusive?
