My message is clear: there is hope, when we work together.
Women's rights and DEI topics are not having a moment, and Crush is needed more than before.
I won't sugarcoat it: we were struggling to get event sponsors.
After sitting with this thought for a while, I knew there had to be a better way.
Then it came to me: What if we all donate just one piece of clothing, sell them, and the proceeds go to support Crush?
Would you say "yes"?
We partnered with Emmy, the leading Nordic marketplace for pre-owned premium clothing. They differ from many other second-hand retailers by not approving fast fashion brands.
We all donate one power piece, Emmy will take photos of the clothing and accessories, and put them up for sale on their website.
All proceeds go to the Crush Movement. More specifically to covering the costs of producing our annual events.
But why stop there?
Empower the person who purchases your clothing by sending your message of encouragement or the story of that clothing.
Donate your power clothing.
Share your story.
Double your impact and empower through fashion.
Even better if you can also share your story on social media, so more will join.
It's important to get many people involved, so invite your friends too.
The Crush Collection store will open when we have collected the first 100 clothes.
Can I count on you to be part of this?
The #EmmyCrush campaign has the potential to be much more than just a fun(d)raiser.
It has the potential to show what we can accomplish together.
