Our Festival (Meidän Festivaali) is an award-winning chamber music event held by the historic Lake Tuusula in southern Finland. Since 1997, the festival has offered intimate and thought-provoking experiences through a bold program that blends classical music with other art forms. Set among the lakeside landscapes that inspired Finnish cultural icons like Jean Sibelius, the festival creates a unique meeting point for music, nature, and culture.

This summer, tradition meets creativity as folk supergroup Frigg and the Kamus Quartet kick off a lively folk jam at Krapin Paja, and Trio Mediæval fills Tuusula Church with medieval song. The festival’s legendary late-night gathering at Jokela Brick Factory will pay tribute to harpist Lilly Kajanus-Blenner, with performances by Marzi Nyman, Niko Kumpuvaara, Päivi Severeide, and many others. World premieres will be heard from Adam Vilagi, Marzi Nyman, and Juhani Nuorvala, while the children’s group Ammuu! brings joy to the youngest festivalgoers.

The festival’s theme takes center stage in Voces – Inner Voices, a new production by Red Nose Company, co-commissioned by the Meta4 and Kamus Quartets, premiering at Järvenpää Hall. Inspired by Sibelius’s Voces intimae, the work explores the voices within. Another highlight is Eternity in an hour by Reena Esmail (USA), blending Western art song with sacred Hindu texts from the Bhagavad Gita, performed by Jess Dandy (UK) and Keval Shah (UK/FIN).
